Lockhaven Privacy Policy

Summary

Lockhaven is designed to keep your private content on your device. Based on the current app implementation, Lockhaven does not require an account, does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not send your vault content to developer-controlled servers.

What Lockhaven Handles

Lockhaven may handle the following information locally on your device:

How Your Data Is Used

Lockhaven uses local data only to provide the core app experience, including:

Data Storage

Your protected content is intended to remain on your device. Lockhaven stores sensitive access information in the iOS Keychain and stores vault content locally in the app’s local storage.

No Account, No Ads, No Analytics

Lockhaven does not currently:

Permissions

Lockhaven may request the following permissions:

Face ID / Touch ID

Used to help you unlock the app faster and more securely.

Photos

Used so you can import photos into the encrypted vault. If you choose to do so, the app may also offer to delete the original items from your photo library after import.

Camera

Used to capture an optional intruder photo after a failed PIN attempt.

Notifications

Used to notify you when someone tries to unlock the app with an incorrect PIN.

Purchases

Lockhaven Pro is offered as a one-time in-app purchase through Apple. Purchase processing and payment information are handled by Apple, not by Lockhaven directly.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete content from inside the app at any time. If you remove the app from your device, locally stored app data may also be removed by iOS. Because the app does not currently use a developer-hosted account system, there is no separate cloud account for you to delete.

Children

Lockhaven is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children through a developer-operated online service.
